SMART Pads II help save valuable time in emergencies by being suitable for use on adults, children, and infants, eliminating the need to purchase separate pads for different patient types. These pre-connected pads are packaged in a semi-rigid case for added protection and feature a HeartStart-compatible plug for easy connection to Philips ALS defibrillators, as well as competitive defibrillators with the appropriate adapters. For patients under 8 years old or weighing less than 55 lbs (25 kg), use the infant/child key, if available.
