The optional DCF-220 (DBP-2800) battery has a shelf life of 7 years in standby mode, or it can provide 300 shocks or 16 hours of continuous operation**, depending on usage.
While the Defibtech Lifeline AED is designed to alert the user with both audible and visual warnings when the battery is critically low, it is crucial to perform regular checks to ensure the battery remains within its operating range.
